Product Review: Skin Wear Salon Solutions, Tan + Go professional selftanning mousse

SKIN WEAR TAN + GO self tanning mousse plus Mitt

Hey Everyone,

I thought i would share my Review on  this tanning mousse, When i first opened it, it smells kind of like maple syrup, sweet and delicious! So i got a friend and asked her to put the tan on my legs while i took photos, using other tanners i found that they gave me an orange kind of ompa lumpa look but when i used the Skin Wear tanning mousse i didn't, my colour turned out a really nice sun kissed look, like i had just come back from the beach (in the middle of winter) with a beautiful tan.
The tanner states "Biotanning Technology + erythrulose, which is the next generation in tanning technology" to give you a natural looking tan.

The following photos are the process we went through to receive the desired look.

Tanner and Mitt
Product Foaming for really easy application

With the tan only on Right Leg

Where we applied the tan up to

Washing the Tan off the next morning

End Result
In the end the tan looks great! but i think for my legs because of there winter state of white i would re apply the tan so i can have a darker tan, (and yes you can re-apply without it looking like dirt) I really liked how easy it was to apply the tan and i would recommend this for a person who hasn't tanned before or is just looking for a natural tan

Rating: 9/10

Quick Review: Almay Smart Shade Primer

Hey Everyone
Just doing a quick review of the Almay Smart Shade Primer, it is a perfect and correcting primer.

It says it instantly smooths and color corrects and the Lavender evens out and brightens skin tone, the Green to reduce redness.
I found that the green part in the primer dose tone down the redness in my cheeks and the lavender dose put a brightness to my skin tone.

It helps my foundation glide on flawlessly and keeps it from sinking into my pores, I really like this product also because it is good for sensitive skin and dose not irritate ( well for me anyway, and I have very sensitive skin ).

I would recommend this for people who don't have enough time for the drying time of primers, because this one dries fast and also for people with sensitive skin.

So I will be re purchasing this product when I run out :)

August Her Fashion Box classic

Reeeoooowwwww

Hey Everyone!
Animal Instinct is this months theme, Love it! So were going out into the Jungle of my backyard to see if we can find whats in this months Her Fashion Box!

Happy 6th Month Anniversary to Her Fashion Box!

August Classic Her Fashion Box

This Months Magazine

Ardell Brow Defining Kit and Brow Perfection Stencils
I was so excited to see this set in this months box, i was looking at trying a brow kit, i don't really need to fill in my brows because they are thick, but a girl likes to play with makeup! i love the way this apply's and keeps my brows shaped and smooth, and the stencils make it so so easy to shape closest to your shape to fill them in, if your just starting out and have no idea how to fill your brows.

Brow defining Kit
RRP: $24.95
Brow Perfection Stencils
RRP: $9.99

L'oreal Mythic Oil
This L'oreal Mythic Oil is so nourishing for my hair, it puts moisture into my hair when im having those days where my hair just feels a little thirsty and it also leaves a beautiful shine to my hair, so i can use it as a finishing oil just to give that professional "Just out of the Salon" look. It is for all hair types so everyone can use it and i suggest you do!!

For a 125ml
RRP: $38.00

Mememe Beat the Blues Illuminator in Sunbeam
The Me me me Beat the Blues Illuminator it just a touch of shine, i put some on after i finished my makeup to try it out and it gave my face a lovely glow in the areas i needed it. i noticed that it stayed on all day and looked just as good as it did when i started the day. If you don't like to have it by its self but want that little bit of shine you can also mix some with your foundation and it will give you that fresh glow look.

RRP: $18.95

Press & Go nails in Shout
Press and Go nails, personally i don't like wearing false nails, and these ones didn't really convince me to start liking them, i think for a night out that you want something different on your nails and you don't know how to do theses sorts of nail art, then these would be for you.

RRP: $14.95

Gilded Grace Belt
Love this Belt! it sinches me in at the waist to give me that "yup i have a waist" look and i love the gold detailing, just my kind of piece to jazz up an outfit :) Happy girl over here!

RRP: $24.95

Queen of the Jungle Scarf
Ahh my scarf! i love this, the picture on it is so fierce but the tiger is so cute, the colours on this scarf makes it neutral and can wear with anything, on those slightly cold winter days or beautiful spring days this is perfect. I am such a sucker for scarfs because they are the perfect accessory, keeps you warm and makes you look good, How can you go wrong??   (excuse the clothes line in the back, but it gave a great windy effect to the scarf hehe)

Eyelash Curler
Its Her Fashion Box 6th Month Anniversary and to be nice they gave us all a cute eyelash curler (which i desperately needed) i like this one because of the rubbery handles, makes it easy to use, so Thank you!

Cute Clutch
I did the Her Fashion Box Survey for the July Box so they included this cute clutch by Honey & Beau (which you can never have to many of) and i love the print, it goes with the Jungle theme :)

Quick Review: Dove Body Wash in Pomegranate and Lemon

Hey Everyone,
I received this dove body wash in go fresh pomigranite and lemon in my review box from dove, and I love it! The smell is just amazing, sort if sweet with a mandarin smell to it (I know it's pomigranite, but that's what it smells like hehe) and when you wash your self with it, it lathers quite nicley and leaves your body feeling so so clean and fresh.
I definitely will be repurchasing this product when I run out!

Others in the Dove Go Fresh Range:
Touch: cucumber and green tea
Burst: nectarine and white ginger

They all sound delicious!

Quick Review: Nivea Shower Conditioner

Hey everyone
Thought I would do a quick review of the Nivea In shower body moisturizer skin conditioner. I used the dry skin one (blue bottle) as I was given a sample to try :)

I really liked the way my body feels after my shower because my skin is moisturized and soft I didn't need to add any moisturizer after, the only thing was that when I was using it, it was quite thick and then after I rinsed it off, I felt like I had oil everywhere, just like you would if you had oily hands and you went to wash them in water.

Apart from that I really liked it, I would purchase a bottle, but maybe the one for  normal skin.

My Top 7 Makeup brushes I can't live without!

Hey Everyone,
I was doing the horrible job of washing my brushes and thought i would share with you the top 7 brushes i cant live without. All these brushes are great brushes, none of them shed on the face, they are all very sturdy and they are all very easy to wash.

Real Techniques By Samantha Chapman "Powder Brush"

I love this brush! its an all over powder brush, when i'm in a hurry i just get this big fluffy brush and get a quick powder finish setting all my makeup and i can use it for an all over bronzer also.It will surly cover your whole face in only a few brush strokes. Samantha Chapman brushes are all synthetic bristles are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free.

Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman "Blush Brush"

I don't even use this brush for blush, i use it more for a light powder, bronzer or a easy contour. it is a very soft brush and is very easy to use for multiple uses.I especially love that it has a flat bottom so it can stand up on my vanity so i don't get it dirty with makeup etc.

Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman "Stippling Bush"

I use these two stippling brushes by Samantha Chapman and Furless Cosmetics to apply my liquid foundation, they both give me a great application, sometimes a little streaky but mostly great. The Real Techniques Brush has shorter dense bristles and the Furless brush has longer bristles but they both give the same effect and if one is dirty i have the other one to give me that airbrushed look.

Bdellium Tools (957)  "Precision Kabuki"

This Bdellium Kabuki brush is an amazing brush! It buffs in my foundation flawlessly and gets great coverage all over the face, the Bristles are so so soft. These brushes are all vegan, soft synthetic bristles and are 100% cruelty free. Thanks to Lou at Little Wing Lou for recommending them to me :)

Master Makeup "Blending Brush" (6)

Blend Blend Blend! So important is most looks :) that's why I love Dean Nixons Blending Brush. It's made from natural bristles which makes it super soft and makes the application of shadows natural.

Eco Tools "Buffing Brush"

This Eco Tools Buffing brush is just as great as the Bdelluim kabuki brush, it has dense bristles which hold the liquid foundation nicely, and buffs it into the skin flawlessly.

One more to add to my must haves, has to be my beauty blender! It is so amazing, I blend out my concealer in a few taps and it helps put everything into place.

Original Source Shower Gel Review

Hey everyone
My friend gave me this shower gel to try out so i thought I would do a quick review of the original source vanilla milk and raspberry shower gel.

The smell is amazing, it smells like strawberries and cream, the texture is very creamy and the colour is a light pink.

I found that it doesn't really lather very well and the smell goes away after a short time, I like the smell to linger a little longer because I shower at night and it relaxes me :) but apart from that I really like this shower gel, I'm going to try the rest of the range also :)

Other sents in the range:
Shower Gels:
Vanilla milk and raspberry (New)
Chocolate and Mint (New)
Mint and Tea Tree
Lime
Shea butter and Honey
Lavender and Tea Tree
Lemon and Tea Tree
XXX Shower with Extra Stong Black Mint

Hand Wash:
Mint and Tea Tree (New)
Vanilla milk and raspberry (New)
Shea butter and Honey (New)

Men's Shower Gel Range:
Spearmint
Eucalyptus
Lemon and Lime
