Keeping your skin looking great while being sick!

Hey Everyone,

I thought I would do this post because I was recently sick and you know when you have a cold or feel just crappy and you can't be bothered doing anything, your skin gets all dry and your nose gets all red and flaky from blowing your nose?

Well I did something different that made my skin stay nice and hydrated, not to much redness and NO flakiness to be seen on my nose!

First I was drinking sooo sooo much water, I didn't feel like eating which normally happens (but I did eat soup) so the water will keep you hydrated, your skin clear and flush out any infections, flu's or colds.

The next thing I was doing, I kept up my Skincare routine, I used a few products and I also tried a new range.

Garnier Pure Active Blackhead Clearing Scrub
I used my cleanser in the shower at night and I only used it once a day, in the morning I would rinse my face off with warm water. I only use it once a day because i don't want to over exfoliate my skin and make it dry. The best product i found was this Garnier Pure Active Blackhead Clearing Scrub, the beads are small enough so they don't over exfoliate and the gel its self refreshes the skin making it feel so cold and refreshing (which is good for a high fever).

People for plants Mist Toner Spray
I love toner sprays, the best thing about having a spray is that, because my temperature was higher at night time my face and body was Hot Hot Hot! So using this toner spray cooled my face down but also toned my face and all I had to do was spray it on my face and wait a few seconds for it to sink in. I chose the People for plants Mist Toner Spray, which i love! it dose not have a strong scent to it which is good and you can actually feel it working. it doesn't make your skin tight and dry like some toners do.

People for plants Face Oil
Next thing I use is a face oil, if your dry skinned, oily skinned, have combination skin, any skin type you are, you can use this oil. I use this oil only in places i think that are way to dry or over oily (over oily because i want to trick my skin in thinking its had enough oil so it doesn't over produce). This oil sinks in so quickly and doesn't leave any residue or yuckyness. its just a beautiful oil.

People for Plants Hydration Gel
This is the last thing i used on my skin, it took over the place of my moisturiser, i bet your thinking WHATTTTT??? you didn't use moisturiser??? No i didn't. Using the People for Plants Hydration Gel made my skin so soft that i didn't need to put moisturiser on after it and really i didn't want to put anything else on my face because i was sick. In the morning my skin felt so nice and smooth it was great! It says to use 7 pumps but I was only using it on my face and neck so 1 pump was more than enough!

And one more very last Savior for my nose was Kleenex Aloe Vera Facial Tissues! what can i say? they don't feel like sand paper on your poor little nose.

So that's everything i used to keep my skin all nice and soft while i was sick with the flu, that to this day that im typing this i still have a cough :(. Also my face didn't look sick which was sooo sooo great, the only way you could tell i was sick, was if i was talking to you and you could hear my blocked nose and groseness! (we all know what we sound like when we have the flu!)

So i  hope that this helps you out a little, next time your sick (which i hope you don't get sick!!)
